My dedication to orthopedic sports medicine is deeply rooted in a firsthand understanding of the athlete's drive and the challenges of injury. As a former collegiate basketball player and team captain, I intimately understand the physical and mental demands of training, competition, and recovery.

This background informs my practice every day, giving me unique insight into:

The guiding principles of my grandfather—a dedicated small-town family doctor—instilled in me a commitment to compassionate, community-focused care. Furthermore, activities like completing triathlons and ultra-marathons, and the focused discipline required for aviation, reinforce the values I bring to surgery: precision, calmness under pressure, and relentless preparation.
